Synopsis
Films Media Group: This story captures a man’s journey to the mystical house of a father, son, and daughter, where strange events bring the traveler to a better understanding of the redemptive power of Christ’s suffering and death.

In 1993, Televisión Española (RTVE) aired a limited series called Los cuentos de Borges, or “Borges Tales.” Consisting of six hour-long episodes, each was an adaptation of a Borges story helmed by a different director. The BBC and France’s Cinétévé also participated in the project. El evangelio según Marcos is an adaptation of the Borges story “The Gospel According to Mark,” originally collected in Doctor Brodie’s Report.
