The Vision 1871 Nauvoo “Hammer” is a Deseret rifle that I based on the historic Krag-Petersson of 1876. This picture is actually a Krag-Petersson that I altered in Photoshop, darkening the wood, transforming the iron into nickel, and elongating the hammer. If you look closely, you can even see the Biblical verse on the barrel!
