This “Burglar Alarm and Animal Trap Gun” was patented in 1866 by Henry Yerty of Ohio. Also known as the “horseshoe gun,” it has twin .32 caliber barrels wrapped around an iron triggering mechanism. The trigger rod features a hole for attaching a cord or wire.
