Pratt’s Burglar Alarm and Animal Trap Gun, patented in 1883. When attached to a cord, the gun swivels when tripped, and discharges a pair of .38 caliber balls in the direction of the disturbance. The hammers are located behind the twin barrels, and are triggered by the arm mounted on top of the device.
