The fictional Locke & Valentine Bolt-Action Pistol No. 2 is based on the very real Remington XP-100. This 7mm pistol dates from 1968, and the photograph is unaltered save one detail—I converted the characteristic white diamond to a black diamond. The actual stock is made from wood-colored nylon plastic, so just accept these delightful curves as part of Locke’s superior craftsmanship!
