Loveless-Howell “Smokeless” Blue Powder, after a session of “reductive quicksilver setting.” Even though I am a chemist by trade, I cannot tell you what that means. You know, mercury ions get electrons and then, uh…stability, yeah. To be honest, I just like mercury, and I think that alchemically speaking, combining quicksilver with ghost rock is a nice touch. The quick and the dead. Yin and Yang. Etc.
The photograph is from a costume make-up company, and is actually mica powder. I Photoshopped it blue.
