This “Lee-Whitworth” Volley Sight is actually taken from the historical Lee-Metford rife. The user first dials in the extended range, from 1400 to 2800 yards, using this rotating pointer located on the forestock. A side-mounted aperture near the receiver is flipped up, and the pointer knob is lined up with the aperture by tilting the rifle upwards.
