The Haven

The Haven holds character descriptions of Kindred not found on the clan pages, as well as some non-Kindred allies.

2017 Archive Note
I first began playing Vampire: The Masquerade in 1993, and ended my campaign in 2002. I no longer run a Vampire campaign, and New York by Night is essentially an archive of old material. Entries presented in “gray boldface” followed by a “Coming Soon” bracket will be restored after I’ve edited the old material. Entries presented in “black boldface” were never actually developed, and are unlikely to be expanded now. I’ve retained them because they help flesh out New York by Night, and may suggest ideas for other Storytellers to adapt for their own campaigns. (And yes, I know the banner image is awful, I’ll eventually get around to changing it!)

Shirazi ibn Wafi al-Ghazi
An Assamite with a tortuous history, Shirazi is a merciless assassin who started life as a peace-loving Sufi—and his soul, torn between these two extremes, is in constant torment. [Coming Soon]

Roland Valkenberg
A Glass Walker in charge of a multinational pharmaceutical corporation, Roland is the only non-Kindred member of the Venturi Business Association. A sensitive billionaire of French-German extraction, Roland feels caught between the Lupines, who think him a traitor, and the Ventrue, who think him a spy.

Diana Coldiron
A Glass Walker from San Diego, Diana is a lonely exile who believes that she alone can save the planet. She is the CEO of Pangaea Corp, an alternate-energy company with offices all across the Americas.

Shikshichela Black Spiral Dancers
These Lakota and Cheyenne werewolves are part of my Deadlands 1876 campaign, and serve as the elite warriors of the Black Ghost Nation.

Damian Moonshadow
The Fool attempting to become the Magus, this scatterbrained virtual Adept is a scientific genius, a musical pioneer, and a hapless drug addict. [Coming Soon]

Special Agents Wheeler & Penrose
A pair of FBI agents from the “Blue Rose” Special Affairs Division, these Men in Black have interesting histories: Rick Penrose, the boyish dreamer and psychic profiler; and Garth Wheeler, the power-hungry cynic whose life was changed by a brutal exposure to voodoo. [Coming Soon]
